Vandy had their chances to pull off the Upset. A couple of great looks on three point attempts and they couldn't make them. Especially the three point shot attempt by Chelsie Hall from the corner with about one minute left that would have given Vandy a two point lead.

Vandy has had a bit of a frustrating season. Clearly improved over last year, but losing Brinae Alexander in November to a torn achilles has really hurt them. They've been in some game but just can't get over the hump. If anything they've regressed in the past month or so. Now they've lost 10 of their last 11.
