Vanderbilt has a new logo

So basically a gold version of 'Nova?
Ha! I thought the exact same thing when I saw it earlier…get the look down first and then ‘chips are sure to follow right??

Goodness not a good look for the 'dores. The star at least was in my mind linked to the north star because well, Commodores.

Ha! Back at you sweetie.

I hate that my kids use only FaceTime when they call me. I panic when I get the call and hold the phone up before answering, only to see my own face and think "Ack, who the hell is that old dude with the turkey neck?!?"
I read that as turtleneck at first. And thus,
this will be my new mental image of you:

Come to think of it a turtleneck could be handy in hiding that turkey neck, so it’s kind of a twofer.

I'm surprised they haven't changed the name of the university or the mascot. Maybe they're getting ready to go to the B1G where it's mostly just large letter logos.

"On August 21, 1869, in London, Ontario, he married a cousin from Mobile, Alabama, with the name — unusual for a woman — of Frank Armstrong Crawford."

Vandy Med grad here. Yeah, this one was a mistake. The Star-V was better. Of course, that 1984 monstrosity at least makes this one look acceptable.

.-.
I guess I’m impressed that whoever was in charge of this clearly had much more important stuff to spend their time on

ikr! cracked me up.
hey! that gives me an idea

sumtimes, life sure is funny.

So what's the over/under for how much they paid the marketing firm who came up with a Clip Art logo?

.-.
I like how people are slamming this for being generic and lame when the previous logo was a white V in a black star.
