That was a really nice buzzer for Slocum, and much needed as she was 2-9 from the field with 4 TOs and 4 assists. OSU playing well despite no post. They miss Gulich.

FG shooting slowly picking up for both teams--OSU 13-32 SC 11-33.

53-44 OSU after 3Q. SC has 3X as many FTA as OSU, keeping them in the game.

63-52 OSU, 4:41 left. They were up as much as 15. SC is suddenly hitting 3's after not not connecting on them pretty much the whole game.

Both teams have 13 fouls, but FTA disparity of 18-5 in favor of SC. Umm.....

65-60. 22-5 FTA disparity. If SC wins, I'm protesting this game.

68-65 SC ball, called a TO, 43 seconds left.

Tied at 68, 24 seconds left. Epic collapse. I don't like SC.

Well I've been whining, but OSU finally gets FTs at the end. Up 70-68. Either the game is over or SC called a TO w/ 2 seconds left, not quite sure...?

A few ways to look at. OSU had a bunch of TOs late, if they had taken better care of the ball it wouldn't have gotten close at the end. Also gave up way too many O boards (22).

SC would've won easily if they shot better. 16 more FGA but 34% shooting vs. 47%. 5-15 behind the arc, but they started 1-8 I think. OSU was 9-20. Wasted all those trips to the FT line, only hit 13-22. OSU was 7-7.

Slocum didn’t have the game I expected out of her. I thought she would have gone off vs SC. Grymek proved to be adequate had 6p 8r off the bench.

Oregon State had 1 steal to SC’s 9
Oregon St had 17 assists to SC’s 7. How do you play an entire game and have only 7 total assists among the whole team? That’s not coaching.

Zykera Rice leading GU w/ 10 points 6 boards 3 steals. She's immediately recognizable by her fabulously bright blue hair.

OSU won despite a near collapse at the end. Last year, OSU won many tough, & close games. These games are very important come tournament time. I loved OSU's game up until the last 4 minutes. The players who played well in last year's NCAA Tournament showed up tonight. Taya Corosdale, Mikayla Pivec, and Katie McWilliams are just studs. Mikayla Pivec has been the best player for the Beavs this season, and will be candidate for PAC-12 POY. OSU still has a great deal of upside, especially when Slocum learns how to take care of the ball, and reduces her turnovers.

Not to take anything away from Pivec, but the Pac-12 POY will be Ionescu unless Oregon is a major disappointment this year.

The assist number is kind of stunning, but some of it may be due to horrible shooting. SC has shot in the mid 30s in all of the games they have played against decent teams (and I'm including Clemson in this category with Maryland and OSU), and they had nearly 30 turnovers against Clemson. Although Cooper seems improved over her time at Tennessee, any team that relies heavily on her outside shooting is taking a major gamble imo. Harris hasn't been the player she was in the past, and Cuevas-Moore's potential remains just that. So--a good victory for OSU and the Pac 12, but this is not the SC we are used to seeing. I think it's at least as likely as not that they lose to Drake today.

I can't see South Carolina losing to Drake. I know this isn't the USC team of past years, but they don't lack for talent. They will make noise in the NCAA Tourney--I'm sure of that.

I realize that Sabrina is the current "lock" on PAC-12 POY. Let's see how the season progresses. Pivec is to OSU what Sabrina is to UO. I also hope that Pivec checks Sabrina when UO & OSU square off this season.

Is there TV for the title game? Or livestream?

I watched the ND-Drake game this morning. I thought Gonzaga actually had some better athletes, but Drake has their system down and the coach uses virtually every player to throw waves at you.
Dawn's guards better have their head on a swivel because they'll back door you every play if you let them. And they can -- and will -- launch threes. I think the Achille's Heel is that they don't have a speedy, reliable ball handler and SC could take advantage of that. But if SC does not shoot well, Drake could be the headache that does not go away.
