I don't know, though. Even Sid Gillman was innovating in the 60s. Do I hear 1941?
 
UConn did a great job of switching to fat guys on the line.

Eventually they might get ones who can block.
 
Maybe they will show a 3:30 game on the video board to keep the crowd engaged
 
Diaco going after this season would be MUCH better than another season of him.
 
Diaco gonna kill UCONN football. Don't blame UCONN fans, they showed up today. Diaco gonna make them lose interest in UCONN football with this pathetic display.

If I am Dave B, I would make the call to TJ tomorrow and have him take over in mid-season as the coach again. This is just pathetic. UCONN can't afford another sorry boring FB season with all the realignment talk.

Benny Friedman made the forward pass worthwhile in the 20s. I'd say 1910s.
 
Diaco is a dumb jock. You don't want your team coached by a dumb jock. Two things a head coach can't be is dumb or lazy. Those are the two things we had in our last two coaches. It would suck to start over from scratch again but this ship is going nowhere anyways so scratch won't be much worse, if at all.

We just gave him an extension based on incremental progress and an abysmal
Bowl Game appearance. What was the hurry? Was he leaving?
 
This team is a goshdarn joke. We drop a pick 6 and then give up another third and long.
 
UVA is unbelievably slow outside of the skill positions. Not convinced this team is a big step up from Maine. Of course, neither are we.

So we just cleaned our own player's clock on that play when the ball should have been the focus.
 
Gave up eight yards there by not just catching the punt.
 
Great throw. A good receiver makes that catch, but UVA is thin there. UVA is handcuffed on offense, and I expect our defense to keep this up the rest of the way.

I'm all for making a change. Get TJ and let's play it out with someone who at least brings football intensity and some offensive know how

I know some people don't like Don Brown D, but I would take that over this right now. Don at least brought the house and make D fun to watch. This bent don't break super conservative stuff is just too much.

We need an offense badly. We need to score right now. Will Diaco and Frank screw it up again?
