You may be underestimating the ability of Mora and our staff to also make adjustments. I think RE was a quiet quitter and we know Diaco was a lunatic. Things have a chance to be different today.

I keep thinking about the few games last year after Edsall was gone, Mazzone was helping with the O and TP was taking snaps. That team was competent against D1 competition.

Having a dual threat QB with a competent staff I hope leads to competent D1 looking football.

There is no JZ taking snaps for Edsall this year.

I say we start out strong cuz they are hyped...10-10 at thr end of the first. Then around 27-13 at the half. Then Utah State adjusts their play and we don't ultimately falling 41-16.

Maybe we will get to see Zion play? I mean, according to 247 he is the 5th best recruit in school history.
 
Both teams score 7 times (UConn get defensive and special teams TD's) Uconn 41 US 37.
 
If we’re getting overmatched I don’t think you’ll see the true freshman. I think they’d want his first game experience to be in a situation where he can see some success (Ideally garbage time against CCSU with UConn up big)
