Didn’t go, but did watch. USA had a lot of chances to tie it up in the second half. They seemed to have trouble organizing their attack at times, but when they got openings their speed showed. Two bad minutes and one particularly bad pass cost them this one. Türkiye was solid.

Turkey had most of their As, we rolled out B/C squad. Aside from the cardoso mistake I thought they did alright considering a good amount of these guys won’t be on the roster next summer. Poch has them looking to play line breaking passes

Agree Cardoso made a bunch of mistakes. He's not going anywhere playing like that. Giving up the goal was inevitable the way he was dithering on the ball in the wrong spots. Could have conceded more. Richards is just as guilty.
Team couldn't break the press and didn't seem to be trying to break it. McGlynn was the only guy to make his case. The goal was terrific, but he was a factor any time he touched the ball, which wasn't enough. The fringe guys didn't help themselves, Tillman, De La Torre, Luna, Johnny, none of them showed much of anything.

I’m good with giving him some space to figure it out. Even General Grant had to mess up before becoming the best General.
Unlike GGG, Poch seems to acknowledge his mistakes.

He was very engaged during the game. Loved watching him run up and down the sidelines and talk to the players during the game. Now, I’ll also admit that I am not a soccer guy. I enjoy watching the Men’s and Women’s national teams play, but I don’t really know the game very well. I was a football and rugby player. Never played a minute of soccer.
