My wife, who doesn't watch a whole lot of basketball, sat with me for the entire So Car/Tenn affair.

We only saw a few minutes of USF/Louisville and her reaction: Both teams seem way more fluid. I agree.

Interesting and thanks: I'll pay more attention to the 2nd half. Just seemed that both teams were far less disciplined (yes, less disciplined than Tenn).

Courtney Williams is fun to watch, but her shot selection can be better. L'ville ends the half on a 9-0 run to take a 4-point lead.

USF played them close in the first quarter. But they are sort of a 1 woman team. And Laska, who lit up UCONN, has been MIA for them. L'ville putting a little distance between them in teh 2nd half...

Louisville is playing much better than in November. And they have good recruits lined up. 7 McD's AAs will be on the team next year.

Briahanna Jackson 0-10 from the floor, 1-4 from the line. Now shooting 35% for the season and taking the second most shots on Louisville.

Keep in mind that Louisville does not have any seniors...3 red-shirt juniors and a good recruiting class coming in. They are going to be a real power in the next couple of years.

Briahanna Jackson (BJ) is in a terrible shooting funk. Walz is running plays for her to try and get a shot to fall, but she can't get the ball in the ocean.
When we were a mess in the early season she was the only one who showed signs of life, now that the team ( as a whole) is coming together, she has lost her way. It is perplexing. Walz is challenging her to keep her head in the game defensively, and not let her offensive woes take her out of the game. Sooner or later her shots have to start falling.

Myisha Hines-Allen and Mariya Moore are having a stellar sophomore campaign.

Not really. Jackson shot only 32% as a freshmen on over 500 Shot attempts as a Freshmen at UCF. As a UCF Sophomore she shot 40% in 14 games. She had some memorable games against UCONN for example but she was never a good shooter. The funk she is in is the player she is and has always been.
