not sure I'm all that thrilled about this hire. Fairly underwhelming IMO

Guy was ok at Dayton, and won 20 games in the ACC last year. Not great, but agree what else where they gonna get? Gottfried is better recruiter, but terrible game coach.
Yeah exactly. And to me that really does seem like a decent path toward improvement after a couple years of Orlando freaking Antigua.

All we really want from USF is to end up somewhere in the Kenpom 100-150 range. That's probably their max under Gregory, but they should have a decent-ish shot at getting there.

New coaches now at UCF, USF, Tulane. At least those schools aren't trying to be status quo. I have no idea what Lebo needs to do to be fired at ECU.

Thought Dawkins did a decent job at UCF. I hope they make some noise in the NIT. How are we going to guard Tacko Fall next year?

He's averaging 11 points and nine rebounds as a sophomore.

Next guy to do that in a UConn uniform is going to get a statue and a state holiday.

If we made one of our bigs as much of a focal point on offense as UCF does with Fall, they'd get those numbers easily.

Have you seen Amidah when we work the ball into him? He can't stay on his feet for six shots a game.

Ah
We don't know - lets just wait and see
Taco is not that good - regardless what the #s say

Tacko went from laughably inept to pretty good over 2 years. If he improves at a similar rate for his 3rd year, he'll most likely not be our problem the following year, because he'll be playing against Drummond, et al.

"Performance bonuses include $100,000 for winning a national title and $25,000 for receiving an NCAA Tournament berth."

25k for getting there and only 100k for winning it? Doesn't seem like the differential is nearly enough. They might as well make it a mill for winning it, because the chances are approximately 0% anyway.
