Stewart great from the outside...she goes inside and leans in to a blocked shot....

Stokes negates a KML 3 with a illegal screen.

UConn's post game has got to get it's act together. They put a ton of pressure on our guards today who thankfully answered.

Oddly enough, in basketball, you look for a balance. If one side is working, it often opens it up for the other.

Kentucky up one early - read they've juggled their line up (looking for offense).

I've never been a fan of trying to score 1 vs 2 or 3 in the lane, esp when you have players who can make jumpers. USF decided to sag in the lane and double (or triple) up on the post hoping that UConn would not make the open shots that defense gives up.

There we go! A post up basket by Stokes!

Followed by another forced missed 3 which leads to a USF lay up.

I like these AAC games. Seems like the teams put up much more of a fight than the old Big East did.

KML drains a nice FT line jumper and USF hustles down court for a layup in transition, beating us down the floor.

USF is hustling. Also working hard inside. When we look back on the season to tally up the cupcake teams on the schedule, USF won't be one of them.

Memphis now down 13 32 - 19 with 4 minutes left in the half. Memphis can play teams tough for 10-12 minutes then talent takes over.
