Team looks good so far. Barbosa looks shaky. Doesn't throw too hard

Pretty tight game. They looked to be a little more patient at the plate and the D didn't look out of sorts. Ferriter tracked one down in the alley in LC and Moore did well to keep that liner in front of him during their rally ... although Verdi did dance under a couple of wind blown pop ups.

Was it me, or did it look like the ump was very willing to give Barbosa the outside part of the plate on curve balls to righties? One of the UCONN batters got called out looking and appeared to say something to the ump. Made a tough night even tougher.

Hope they find a way to take the remaining 2!!!

Yeah, Barbosa is good and he's very tough to beat when the ump expands the zone like that.

The team played pretty well, lets hope they can take the next two.
