USC's Staley gets extension and raise

The Ohio State rumors proved beneficial to Dawn Staley. The Bd of Trustees approved a 3-year contract extension through 2019 and a $125,000 raise to bring her salary package to $850,000. Her salary will increase by $25,000 each year through the end of her contract.

She gets that raise for getting her team into the NCAA tourney two years in a row? An ultra-elite player is really considering a school that sets the bar that low??

I don't think that is 'insane' - she has a solid record as a coach and has made 'Lesser Carolina' (found that amusing) relevant in the SEC for the first time in a long while (or ever?)

FYI - In England they often have a group of small villages that are related and use a different set of adjectives for differentiation - had friends who live in Middle Wallop which was a little south of Upper Wallop and a little north of Lower Wallop. ( They have a very good pub in Middle Wallop!)
