We likely won't know publicly until after the tournament. I'm sure the coaches will know earlier though. Dawn plans to hit the portal hard this summer and has stated that she'd like to know sooner rather than later.
I hope she returns--she needs another year in college, I can't see her sticking with a team this summer based on her play this season.

Her regression this year is puzzling. A year ago she looked like a can't miss 1st round draft pick after she put the clamps on Caitlin Clark in the title game and drastically improved offensively. This season she can't find the basket and is maybe be a 2nd rounder if she were to go pro now. I almost wonder if she's struggled with the pressure of potentially losing playing time to Tessa/Fulwiley off the bench. Next year I think she'll have more minutes with Pao Pao/Hall gone and might revert back to last year's form. I think SC needs her to step up in big games to win it all.

Not to dump on South Carolina (who is still arguably the title favorite), but they went from shooting nearly 40% from 3 a year ago to just 32.8% despite having the exact same arsenal of shooters. I'm not sure if it's the effect of Cardoso/Watkins being out, but the 3 ball just isn't the same weapon it was a year ago for the Gamecocks.

They must have been here on the boneyard for our vigorous U$C vs $C debates.

It's a great idea for WBB/NCAA, sort of like an in season bowl game. We could see more rivalries promoted like this.

Both teams next year will be pre season top 5, and both schools will continue to be able to recruit both hs and transfer market very well. (With all the attention they get right now, and just for LA, the Trojans are very attractive for recruits)

Following the Clark model, team JuJu should get better each year as JuJu continues to improve. SC of course has a great group returning.

Cardoso drew double and triple teams, which left guards open outside.
