USC @ Oregon 2/16

15-10 Oregon at the first media timeout. USC is forcing TO's, most of their points have come off of runouts. Hebard is picking up where she left off, 8 points on 4-4 shooting already. She is just KILLING opponents in the paint lately. She even hit a FT line jumper tonight. Bando didn't start but she came in fairly quickly. Cazorla has knocked in a couple of 3's.

21-12 after 1Q. Hebard has 11. USC getting almost nothing from their half court offense. 3 quick transition buckets early, then they ground to a halt.

Graves rolled the dice, started Q2 w/ 4 subs on the floor. It backfired. They've lost all momentum, USC has creeped back to within 21-18. Ducks haven't scored for 4+ minutes.

Oregon was TERRIBLE in Q2. Only scored 5 points. Game is tied at 26 at halftime.

A bunch of low scoring games at the half other than Colorado leading UW 48-35. All the others are within 6 point margin or less.

I keep forgetting how good Kristen Simon from USC is. The Pac 12 has some real quality depth of post players. Almost every team has a good one. USC now leading 38-33, Simon has taken over Q3.

To my eye, something is not quite right w/ Ionescu. She looks like a shell of herself the last 3 games.

Simon has always been a beast in the middle. She really has only had one other good PF or C to play with in her 4 years and that was Fembengle who played one year after she left Harvard.

A ton of turnovers, tough D by USC, poor shooting.

Oregon has finally started matching USC's intensity/energy level. Ducks have regained the lead 45-42 after 3Q. Simon leading USC w/ 19 and Hebard has 15 (7-7 FG; she's hit 32 of her last 34 shots over 3 games!).

ASU is running away from Arizona in Q3, have outscored them 25-5 since halftime.

Cant decide if this game is USC's defense or Oregon's lack of offense. I have seen the Ducks struggle offensively several games this season. Hebard perfect from the floor. She shot some 90% last weekend.

My goodness. Ball tipped out on the inbounds pass. Another review. In the last 10 minutes of real time about 4 seconds have gone off the clock. This game may never end. Oregon can't get a clean inbounds.

Some of both. USC is good at forcing TO's. It's hard to score if you can't keep possession of the ball.
