Nope, but the other LA school is who you should be worried about regarding Fagan. Texas, SC, USC are her finalists and she seemed to form a good relationship with Jazzy Davidson and Saniyah Hall during U19.

Well, we will see if gotttlieb can coach one up. Fagan has a load of potential and raw talent. She ain’t no guard though. Can Lindsey turn her into a forward? Pro level in 4 years?
 
Dang. We're striking out this recruiting year. I think we're going to have to rely heavily on the portal and hope that our luck changes with the 2027 class. Assuming nobody transfers this is what we'll have next year:

5: Tac, Andrews
4: Watkins, Edwards
3: T. Johnson, McDowell
2: Makeer (?)
1: McDaniel

We'll probably want 2-3 guards (one must be a a PG), and a forward out of the portal.

I certainly will be. Rickea Jackson and NaLyssa Smith were two of my all time favorite recruits I really hoped would come to USC who I peripherally watched the next four years as they flourished elsewhere. Fagan’s skill set reminds me of Rickea and the way she talked about playing defense made me that much more exited about her possibilities.

We are in Kaeli Wynn’s top 2. She’s deciding between us and Stanford. #17 ranked Wing from Cali.

Lola Lampley will visit in the next two weeks. #29 ranked Wing from Indy.

Jerzy Robinson #5 and top ranked guard will visit next weekend.

Vukosa is probably out with us getting Kelsi Andrews.

The 2027 class is loaded so if we miss out this year and reload with the portal we should be okay. It’s definitely not looking as bleak as the 2015 and 2020 classes did.

Still likely a Final Four caliber roster if Watkins is healthy. Watkins/Edwards/Johnson is a 3 headed monster.
 
This is terrible news. Ever since the recent photo of Kitts in a knee brace surfaced, everyone has been holding their breath. Hoping that Kitts recovery and rehab goes well and she’s back at 100% next season.

It feels weird that we're going into the season with 10 healthy players after multiple seasons where it felt like we had an endless bench. This is going to be a stressful season injury-wise. We need to stay healthy.

I feel your pain. Before this past season, the Huskies faced several years where they didn’t have enough players for practice, let alone a sufficient rotation for games. But the players that Dawn has healthy are pretty darn good. They will all play a few more minutes and I have no doubt that the Gamecocks will be chasing another SEC title as well as making another run at the national championship when all is said and done.
