Maybe we will have one soon. I would really like to see the havoc she would create for these teams that have never seen a player like her before.
 
Interesting starting line-up - Geno talked about trying to speed France up in the preview from yesterday so he went small with Angel and NO replacing Dupree and Tina. Worked a treat for the first quarter and then USA sort of got lazy on defense. USA played only 10 players in first half. No Lavender or Dolson, Diggins, Sims, or McBride. Not surprising - time is getting short, and it is time to build chemistry with the players that will be playing the majority of the games. Expect the first 5-8 minutes of the third Q to be similar before the others get minutes.
 
The only player on France that can hurt Team USA is Gruda and Team USA is making sure that she does. She's been wide open on her short range jump shots. Poor Defense by Team USA. Gruda has 24 points

USA also shooting poorly.

Wow! GREAT foot race by Maya to chase down a ball full court. Gets it to Diana, who FINALLY hist a three. And then that player... um... what's her name... GRUDA! scores again. Maybe need to bring in two bigs, Geno?

I am stunned that the US is playing so poorly. So much for the "we will blow everyone out" theory.
