USA looks disjointed, I think it's due to so many substitutions. Tough to get much going. They are obviously looking at specific people...Skylar, Sims, McBride, Stewie...

2nd quarter; USA up 35-29. Looking pretty rough, in terms of play. Looks like both teams are trying to find a nice flow.
 
Kinda a messy game right now. Looks like Geno is playing with rotations.

Nneka looks great. She should make the team

Sims in now. Diggins has played a lot this far. I feel like one of them will make it. Stef only one that hasn't played yet.
 
Nneka looking strong. I see no way she won't make the team. Inside defense looks pretty weak.

35-31 at the half. Angel with 7pts. Nneka with 6 to lead USA
 
Sometimes so far, Diggans looks to her shot first, then distributes. Future Husky Kia Nurse playing well. 35-31 @ the 34sec left 1st half

IMHO Nneka has been Team USA's best player. Doing all the little things. Maya is playing well disrupting Canada, but her offense is lacking.
 
Sloppy first half, both sides. Errant passes, missed shots, weak screens. Not impressed yet, but there is another half to go. Canada was perhaps a little quicker to 50/50 balls, rebounds, etc. Stewie got fairly extensive minutes.

Much better play by both teams now, more so USA. Stef finally makes an appearance - in very purple do - in the game. Gotta love that. She got beat on a drive immediately though. Score at the end of 3 quarters: USA leads, 57-41.
 
@ 5" mark left in the game, USA leads, 63-46.
 
Stewart with a 3. 66-48 USA 4:20 4th. Stef's out now after committing a foul.

Parting thoughts: USA still has work to do. When they get in sync and get the rest of the WNBA players, they are going to be one tough out. Kia Nurse will be a very good player for UConn in the future perhaps, but tonight she wasn't very effective. Canada was held to about 20 in the second half. Final: 76-51.

I think Nurse will be a good player as soon as she gets to UConn, there is a little bit of difference playing against college kids and then playing against the absolute best players in the world.
 
Sims & Diggins played gtreat together.
Breanna was very good.
I didn't see Stef do anything to help herself.
