What I saw that Napheesa needs to work on is her defense on the wing. Many times she would leave her player and back down towards the paint on help defense. Wouldn't you know it, the ball was passed around to the player, Napheesa just left for a wide open look. Napheesa was a little slow on recovery and/or was to far away to recover to get back to guarding her player. Still she was the best all around player on the team.

One of the most potent (if not the most potent) rosters of all time.
In the past, I have occasionally been accused of being negative.
And my reply has always been, I call em like I see em.
But I don't think it's possible for anyone to have anything but the best of good feelings,
as we now anticipate some amazing BB over the next few years and deep into the future.
I wound not be surprised to see this FIBA under 18
closely resemble the next 3 or 4 years final-4 from the perspective of UConn domination.

Tony?

One has to be flexible as the situation changes
Remember you can only put 5 on the court at the same time.
We have three acknowledged all-stars, perhaps 4 by season's end.
I'm really, really confident that we can overcome any perceived difficulties in the front court
And after this season…sheesh!

and you wasnt confident with Dolson (a seasoned senior), BStew and Stokes (as relief)... but you are with players who havent even scrimmaged against their own teammates yet.

Glad to see you've come around :p
