I was reading the paper this morning (the real one not on-line) and couldn't help but notice a long article about Houston and a side article about Tom Herman, both taking up an entire page of the paper. I wasn't sure if it was "planted" to engender more buzz for P-5 purposes, or whether it was a merely a product of a reporter telling the story of a young high profile coach and an unexpectedly strong season coupled with the drama and expectation of the Cougars opening against Oklahoma this fall. (They did mention us as the only team to beat Houston but implied it was all about their back-up QB and 4 turnovers.)
Bottom line, when an AAC team can elicit that kind of coverage, it's never a bad thing for all of us.
Here's the online version.
Houston enters 2016 season with question marks. On purpose.

Clearly a TH fan... Steak for those who compete, beans for those who don't: A new day in Houston football
