Exactly. Why on earth would I want to watch commercials???The dvr is for recording everything. I do understand it's not in everyone's budget. I watch a lotta tv and hulu, roki, redbox, youtube and crackle wouldn't do the trick for me. HDMI cords to put on the big screen is ok once in a blue. I can't enjoy watching the game with the family on a laptop
We don't watch much broadcast network TV (Amazing Race, Survivor, 60 Minutes, no more than 1 or 2 more) but we (the wife, really) watch a fair amount of the competition shows on Food Network and also some HGTV, but mostly sports. Saturday I taped like 12 FB games and Sunday like 7 NFL games. This gave us options to switch what we were watching - at our convenience - when games got out of hand.
To be fair, I must admit I can DVR up to 9 things at once, which is probably more than most, but still. . .
