Tickets go on sale next week to the general public.
Prices ranging anywhere from $95 to 400.
Guess where the $95 are.

Also American Express card holders may be able to order early.
Service charges on the tickets range anywhere from $13 - 20 each ticket.

I know some of this money will go back to USA Organization but way to milk the crowd.

Who on earth is going to pay $400 for an exhibition event in a fringe sport in the American consciousness that's played indoors in the summertime?

I paid $50-something a ticket for courtside seats at the USA-australia game in september 2010 in Hartford. That was reasonable. This is just dumb.

I'm guessing it's one ticket for both men's and women's games... otherwise no way would they price the women's game this high. Just my guess tho

OK, that would make a lot more sense. NBA All-Star game tickets will go well north of $400, and basically Team USA is an all-star team. Obviously, there's not the surrounding pomp and circumstance of All-Star weekend, but still high-profile.

The gold medal game for women in "only" $480.

I'm going for $95 on this one.

The Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. ( where the Washington Wizards play) USA Basketball game is a double-header (Mens and Womens) scheduled for July 16th.

Looking at the site reveals that Floor Seats are going for $364--$2,500.
Main Concourse Seats are going for $155--$784.
Club Concourse Seats are going for $114--$211.
Upper Concourse Seats are going for $79--$99.

Get'em while they're hot.
