Because she got robbed! Refs completely screwed that game up.Wow, as of this moment (Q3 of TX-UCLA game) Ashley Joens is the only one on your list who isn't still alive in the NCAA tourney!

Is it just a coincidence that Refs screw ups have favored the Texas teams? who said there wasn't a home team advantage?Because she got robbed! Refs completely screwed that game up.
Karma for her helicopter dadBecause she got robbed! Refs completely screwed that game up.
Fudd's parents did not need to pay thousands of dollars to quality instructors. They are quality instructors themselves. That said, it is also true that Azzi is self-motivated.Good points. How is it possible that Ono still extends and releases her FTs higher than any shots she takes within 5 feet of the rim? IMO, it just comes down to how much time and work is a kid willing to put into the offseason to make the changes that are necessary. There are quality instructors all around the country that would work with a Tennessee or UConn level athlete to help them be the best they can but the kid has to want it. I doubt that Fudd's and Bueckers' families are paying thousands of dollars to polish those elite skills. It just depends what a kid's goals are.
Worst thing about coaching Feeder basketball was controlling the parents. I finally had a meeting with them before a rivalry game and told them that I was the only one who could say anything to a referee. If anyone violated that rule, I would have them removed. It actually worked, much to my delight and surprise.Karma for her helicopter dad

That's true. My point was that many motivated kids work with skills trainers and the trainers are happy to work with them for nominal cost. And even Fudd goes to NYC to work with Chris Brickley for fresh perspective. There's a 4 minute video on YouTube of her getting instruction from him. Couldn't link it.Fudd's parents did not need to pay thousands of dollars to quality instructors. They are quality instructors themselves. That said, it is also true that Azzi is self-motivated.
2010 U-17 had Breanna Stewart, Morgan Tuck, Elizabeth Williams, Jewell Loyd, and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, among others.I've watched each of the games that team and the 2018 U17 team played at least 10 times apiece. They are perhaps the best U17 and U19 teams of all time. In truth, I thought the U17 team with Fudd, Horston and Haley Jones was the better team. On that team Von Lith barely saw floor time.
Wow! Cameron Brink played the least minutes- by far. Yet she's the starting center for the #1 ranked (NCAA tournament seeding committee) top-seed, Stanford. That was the kid who played the least on that U-19 team?!?From the videos I watched, Clark didn't start, barely played. Paige started, and was voted MVP. Here are the final stats. Very interesting.

Aside from Stewie I'd still take the 2018 team.2010 U-17 had Breanna Stewart, Morgan Tuck, Elizabeth Williams, Jewell Loyd, and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, among others.
As would I.Aside from Stewie I'd still take the 2018 team.
2018 is also the first year they started using D3 coaches instead of high school. It made a huge difference. As would I.
