Upset Alert - Down Goes Perdue (merged)

And Gary Parrish will still pick them #1 this week.....
That's exactly what I was thinking. He will say something like, "Although the Buckeyes are 15-11, they play in the powerhouse Big 10 and not the underperforming Big Least. Sure UConn lost to Kansas at home but they haven't beaten anyone of note. Purdue just had a minor setback and is still #1."

As I said in the other thread. Purdue only has 2 good players, Edey and their PG. The rest of the players are average at best. They are very slow on the wings with not many people who can create their own offense. If they aren't hitting 3's they will get beat.

You do realize you retired, right? Quit coming to the office in your robe and fuzzy slippers and asking people if they want to go to the Denny's early bird special with you.

As I said in the other thread. Purdue had Edey and their back up PG. The rest of the players are average at best. They are very slow on the wings with not many people who can create their own offense. If they aren't hitting 3's they will get beat.
Yep. Edey and three point shooting is a great recipe for racking up a ton of regular season wins but they'll probably run into a team that's much quicker than them again and they'll miss open threes and lose. The Big 10 is a slow conference, they are exposed by it every tournament.

If you think it affects the mojo... That's why I didn't watch. But OT? They came back to tie then lost to the crappy team on OT? That's not #1 worthy.

The Parrish hates UConn crowd really makes us look like Neanderthals. His argument for why they were ahead of us made sense and was in fact reinforced by the selection committee yesterday. He’ll absolutely have us #1 tomorrow.

Time for all of the Purdue fans to take their resumes, roll them up and [REDACTED].

Purdue really hasn't looked good the last three weeks. The Big 10 isn't good.
Looking forward to my Purdue buddy attempting to justify the loss by talking about how competitive the big 10 is.

He already texted me before the end of the game to say that a loss today would be a positive since the team needs a " wake up call" before the postseason.

Out of curiosity, what team has the most wins in the country?
I believe it would be the same one who has the best quad I winning percentage.

Will this affect their Kenpom or NET?
Purdue took about a full point hit to their adjusted efficiency margin on Kenpom, so we went from having a super narrow lead to a healthy one.
