New to the Boneyard?People having an opinion is one thing. People having an opinion with absolutely no knowledge of the situation is quite another thing.
Dizzy Dean would have agreed. With Hurley you never know for sure. Regardless, with some time off coming up, you should rest him. With foot and “ankle” issues, the can be related in terms of compensating and creating another injury or making an existing one worse.
Ya, page one I believe. And our BY Doctors have contributed. Much appreciation for that. They’ve had the mri a long time, and its not like this news won’t come out.
Guy does this on every topic team related.Or, just maybe, some people see the difference between talking for the sake of talking and talking because you know enough to express an opinion that adds something to the conversation?
I thought it was coming out in 20 mins? The news should come out around 745PM
Feel free to ignore it thenNot sure what the benefit would be for Coach Hurley to lie about Clingan’s Injury, especially to double down on it in yesterdays media session.
Also given that he just said a few weeks ago he’s done playing games by withholding injury info from the media.
Long term dealing with another foot injury is probably a lot more concerning to nba teams than if he sprained his ankle so I could see it making some sense to try to pass it off as he sprained his ankleNot sure what the benefit would be for Coach Hurley to lie about Clingan’s Injury, especially to double down on it in yesterdays media session.

So count on boneyard “insiders” to put it out there anyway.Long term dealing with another foot injury is probably a lot more concerning to nba teams than if he sprained his ankle so I could see it making some sense to try to pass it off as he sprained his ankle
lol nba teams get the medical history of every player and then go through a full evaluation of every player. Donovan will see a foot specialist of every team interested in drafting him and also provide his own doctors evaluation. It’s not like you can hide this from NBA teams. So count on boneyard “insiders” to put it out there anyway.
Yeah. What happened high or even mid tops? Who’d even want to “lace em up”? If you’re not having anything…..up? Slides will be the next evolutionI blame the sneakers for most of this season’s injuries.
I think we approach this game like we did at Kansas. Dickinson got his points but we played superior defense all around. This can’t be a what do we do without Clingan situation, everyone needs to step up here. All our starters except Clingan didn’t show up. Newton, Cam, and Alex have to play like they normally do. We are better than St John’s at every position.Spencer looks stockier and wider than Singare to me.
I am joking about the upfakes, but I have seen Spencer give some when he was guarded by a guard. Maybe that motion would elicit some fouls from Soriano. Huge problem is that Soriano could shoot over him.
Maybe desperate times need desperate alternatives.
Just my opinion, and others are entitled to theirs.
Comment was more tongue in cheek. Obviously this is the case. But it’s even more obvious that Hurley wouldn’t lie about an injury for that reasonlol nba teams get the medical history of every player and then go through a full evaluation of every player. Hipaa applies to health professionals, not message board posters.Hipaa rules optional on the Boneyard
Anonymous ones at that.Hipaa applies to health professionals, not message board posters.
I hear you but NBA teams would get his medical information either way.Long term dealing with another foot injury is probably a lot more concerning to nba teams than if he sprained his ankle so I could see it making some sense to try to pass it off as he sprained his ankle
Idk I don’t feel that strongly about it, just speculating, and obviously any nba team will do their due diligence anyway…but the second it comes out he re-injured the foot, even if it’s a minor miss one game injury, his foot holding up becomes a bigger media issue for the rest of the year and every draft “expert” is including in their write ups his foot being a concern. If he does end up missing significant time I imagine the truth would come out but if there’s a chance it’s just a day to day thing it makes sense to me to avoid saying it’s a foot injury for now.I hear you but NBA teams would get his medical information either way.
It doesn't make sense for the staff to hide a potential foot injury in hopes of preventing NBA teams from finding out.
I would guess he doesn't play tonight with the long layoff before the Depaul game on Jan 2 and then the Boneyard will do a whole bunch of guessing and arguing until then.
Or longer. It’s better to give him time to fully heal even if it costs us a game or 2. Sit him until the Creighton game mid JanI hear you but NBA teams would get his medical information either way.

Yeah that's true. Hopefully it's just all a big nothing and we're just Boneyardin'Idk I don’t feel that strongly about it, just speculating, and obviously any nba team will do their due diligence anyway…but the second it comes out he re-injured the foot, even if it’s a minor miss one game injury, his foot holding up becomes a bigger media issue for the rest of the year and every draft “expert” is including in their write ups his foot being a concern. Connections don't always get the absolute lowdown but can confirm you have a reliable source that your information, as awful as it is in this case, is not completely speculative. Thanks for the heads up!Same guy that gave me the Castle timeline before it was public. Probably reliable. Feel free to ignore it.
