In the midst of unexpected trip to CT, a two week quarantine, a few days to spend with friends and family, losing power, then deciding to return home early, I didn't read the BY too often, so here's the updated roster.

It's also worth noting that since Autumn isn't on scholarship (yet), there is an additional roster spot open in all of those columns.

Always nicely done! Just out of curiosity, why would Brady be listed as C/F but not ONO? Brady is shorter and allegedly has more of an outside game.

Two thoughts:

I forgot how young Ice Brady is.

This year's team is loaded, but next year? Wow.

There's an additional scholarship unused but the roster is still limited to 15.

I was under the impression that you can have 15 scholarship players, but there isn't technically a cap on roster size.

15 is the limit of scholarships for WBB. 13 for MBB. I can't find anything about a roster limit however if a D1 school uses a full 15, I can't imagine them needing walkons. And talented kids today aren't going to sit and wait to play so you wouldn't be stockpiling real talent if you use the full 15.

I seem to remember a story from a few years ago where Louisville had a walk-on they gave a scholarship to her junior year but then they wanted it for someone else her senior year, and she could have still stayed on the team. (FWIW, I think she chose to just focus on academics after they pulled the scholarship.)

I'm just saying that we still have two more scholarship spots open for 21-22, even though our roster could be at 14.

Hope I can stick around for the next few years. We are going to be beyond competitive. Lots of talent and I think that I see a roster where there is going to be a lot of shared playing time for everyone. Good rebounding, shooting, passing. It does not get a heck of a lot better.

Great post National.

The '00-'01 team had 16 players on the roster. I think the '98-'99 team did as well.

I think we should go all out and overdose on A(s) in the next three years: Azzi Fudd, Ayana Patterson, Amiya Joyner, Ashlon Jackson & Aalyah Del Rosario.
Fonzie would approve. “Aaaaaaaaaa.”

Just reassemble the 'A's' as AA's ;)

Not allowed mentioning the name of the one who's name shall not be spoken.

Dagnabbit! You spoke of she who shall not be named!

It is very evident to me that there will be alot of playtime for everybody. With the virus they need experience on the court just in case some get sick and they may not hang around to long if theyre not playing. I see at least 9 deep. Evina will need rest until shes 100%. A team with no seniors and I can only imagine how much better they will be next season. This team is loaded with tremendous talent and will be for years to come. This will be one of the best passing teams Geno has ever had and with the depth NC is written all over them. Undfeated seasons will depend on how fast the freshman and sophs develop. Defense First. Potential Talent and the will to compete and win and I believe Anna and Nika will provide the disipline, courage and determination to make this team mentally tuff. Its gonna be alot of fun to watch.

That 2021-22 roster could include 10-12 future WNBA players.

Very conservative. Oh, maybe you are penciling Anna and Nika back to international first duty. ;);)

I won't mention names, but I thought one or more players might not make it. But they will play in Europe.

The Army women's team has had as many as 22 on their roster in recent years. Their men's team has rostered at least 24 on occasion. A number of other women's teams have had 17 or more. There is no NCAA limit. A number of conferences have limits on how many can travel for league games however.

Just copying info from recruiting and/or news sites.

I know. I just like keeping each class in alpha order, so I'll think of an edit that makes sense.
