Correct me if I'm wrong, but after sitting out a year, wont Purvis have 2 years of eligibility left, not 3? I very well may be wrong, but I thought that the year he has to sit out counts against him.

Any idea how hard we're still going after Jordan Mclaughlin now that we have Purvis coming in for 2014? I don't think of Purvis as a primary ball handler and Mclaughlin is nasty. He would be a huge get IMO

I haven't heard much as in how hard we are recruiting him but I have heard it will be very hard to get him away from the west coast.

I'm thinking UConn will be evaluating Purvis hard in his transfer year. I think if they "think" he can play PG, they won't recruit another PG for 2014-2015. If they think he cannot, then they will target another PG. UConn seems to be liking their combo guards lately. Guys who can score & pass. That's just my opinion.
