In the six games since UConn played Georgetown, the Hoyas have been solid, winning four of their last six (at Providence, Butler and vs DePaul and Creighton) and lost by seven to Villanova last game. In that span, paint defense has improved a lot (Georgetown leads the Big East in maximizing average 2PA distance w/ 6.4 feet per attempt) and the group has rebounded well too.

Mack remains the go-to scorer, KJ Lewis the team's best defender and Iwuchukwu has solidified himself as the star of the frontcourt on both sides of the floor. With Langston Love out of the rotation, sophomore Kayvaun Mulready has stepped up as the biggest riser in the rotation, providing physical two-way play and much improved confidence on the floor as the backup 2/3.

Defensively, the biggest matchups are set up for Demary, who has a huge size advantage over Mack, a player not noted for his defense. I also like Karaban matching up against Caleb Williams, his Williams' footwork and defensive awareness is subpar.

Like nearly every team we play, this is Georgetown's Super Bowl, so I expect a battle early on and a physical matchup, especially with Georgetown's overall size and Cooley's style of play.

We're gonna high hedge again aren't we? Brace for some easy Georgetown slams....

I'll be watching Tarris very closely this game. If he dominates like he did against Butler, we'll be fine.
Iwuchukwu is a tough defender. Last time Tarris forced it a bit and was less efficient than usual

Main consideration was "at Georgetown".

They are coming to Gampel this time and I hope the students are in a frenzy. At Georgetown was a dim crowd.

We play statistically better at home so this will be a great one to watch (Peacock of course)

Tarris was the main reason we won @Georgetown.
That's the way I remember it. He had 15 and 11. Just looked up the boxscore and he was 5-5 from the FT line. Now if only he could do that more often! That was a terrible shooting game for the Huskies. And they still won. Hopefully the shots fall better tomorrow night than last time they played.

I am extremely not worried about this game. Feels like an easy victory for the Huskies. I think they have things to fix, but I'm still pretty confident. Way too many Peacock games though.

Yeah, Gtown is barely 2 games above .500 and are prone to fouling. Not as talented nor deep as us.

I'm not someone who cares about the broadcast carrier or the analysts- But I can seriously count on one finger how many times a post commented on how much they LIKED the broadcast or the analysts.

If our three ball continues to do well and Reed/Rebie dominate out chances are solid. Reed seems to have found a new team game that will be hard to beat. For every double team they throw at him our three-point shooters will make them pay.

Rebound and defend without fouling. We have to eliminate that big discrepancy in FT attempts to bear very good teams. The game plan against us has become obvious recently. Drive to the rim, get fouled and that is enough to keep it close and get us in foul trouble, particularly Mullins and Silas. If we clean that up we can beat anyone.
Oh, I forgot, no wholesale line changes.

Iwuchukwu has the size, strength to come close to matching Reed. Reed won't be able to bully him as easily as other opposing centers.

My only complaint with Peacock is that it’s not on in bars. I actually like their production. Their closed captions are awesome and it just looks good.

Man, when our starting center plays this poorly, and we still win, that's a good sign; albeit the score was a little too close to be sustainable. Tarris needs to start playing like a senior and be more consistent. He's easily been the most frustrating player to watch this season.

Hurley needs to get through to him come tournament time.
