Certainly prefer him going to Rutgers over Providence, but definitely a bit confusing. Seems like he was ours to lose and we backed off…even though Dan Hurley has talked about putting an emphasis on shooting? Don’t really understand it.

It’s not that surprising if you know the Griffiths family. Pikiell has known Gavin since he was born. Pike and his dad came up in the same programs and are good friend. I believe Gavin’s father played for Hartford while Steve was UConn
