Plus Purdue v GT.

Does Purdue deserve that 14 despite the UConn loss?
Does GT deserve a ranking?

I will be tuning into Nebraska and Maryland here in Chicago!

I will give a report on the Terps as this will be the first time I am seeing them televised this season.

I like the makeup of the Huskers too. Moore and Hooper are a great one-two combination.

Maryland is up on the Cornhuskers now by 19.

Maryland will probably pull out the win.

What I took from the game:

Atmosphere at Nebraska looks amazing. NCAA feel. They are really backing the Nebraska women.

Moore and Hooper are a great tandem. Player I was most impressed with is the freshman PG (who starts) Rachel Theroit. 5-11. Checked Hoopgurlz and she was not even in top 100 and ranked 93. She played a good game.

For the Terps:

INSIDE game is strong and pair that with Alyssa Thomas is what makes them a good basketball team. I dont know but I would imagine they are highly ranked in the NCAA stats on rebounding including offensive.
They have a young PG (Pavlech) who made a few mistakes but overall was not that bad. Guard play is clearly where they are weak. However, I cant overstate what their interior does. IF the guards toss up a shot and it misses, doesnt really matter because DeVaughn, Hawkins, Malina Howard, or Thomas are most likely going to get the rebound and putback. Even their interior passing is good IMO.

UCONN will go big in this game I believe or small and frustrate the guards.

Should be a good game. I will add more later...back to the game....
