By the end of the week in the classroom my brain is shot, so I’m not sure how to phrase this eloquently. Nonetheless, someone will get it, lol.

Is there a cutoff from the NCAA committee in terms of a seed line when it comes to considering a teams location & the region they’re placed in? Is it all 1-4 seeds? I feel like if my memory serves correct, after the first two seeds it’s a crapshoot.

I’d love Houston as our 1 we match up well with their style. They are really good, but they are rebound and defend. Sasser could cause issues.

Miami is tough 5 seed though.

It means we can't play another Big East team until the Sweet 16 and if we play any of them in the conference tournament it's protected until the Elite 8. Previously that applied to the top 3 teams in every conference but now is only for teams seeded 1-4.

1-4 seeds are also protected from a regional "road" game in round 1 but that's it. No protection given afterwards
