Last night, around 11, my 26 year old son and I decided not to go to the Garden. Not because of cost. We could have gotten in easy for $150, as opposed to the $350 that Friday night cost. But because despite our solid 8-3 record while attending UConn NCAAA games, we were 0-2 in Regional Final games. So we decided we were not going to decrease UConn's chances by showing up. You are all welcome.

That having been said, congrats and thanks to all those who made the pilgrimage today. I'm not sure we don't get buried when we fell down 9 in the second half without it being a home crowd. You all done great!

I put a sweaty smelly UConn shirt on at halftime that I wore in Memphis. That is the real reason we came back. That said, much respect to your mojo.

I was wearing the UConn Recreation shirt we all got as freshmen in 08-09 when we had Hash and lost out on a possible NC to, that's right, MSU. Honestly didn't even really think about it when I picked it out of my UConn shirt collection.

Actually I'm going to take the credit for this one. I said that if we win today, I would buy Nelson dinner. Not to worry though....we know he only exists in the cyber world.

It's a girl thing, but I only wore a national flag blue hair band, used blue soap, and stayed away from anything remotely resembling green today. Call me crazy, but I still have a stretched out red hair band that I wore for the famous 8 game run by the Red Sox in 2004.

Good grief, I thought I was the only one who put on a dirty UConn shirt... my 1999 National Championship shirt was pulled out of the laundry basket, only because the 2004 shirt was further down.... Yeah, it's not that time of the month for laundry.

I wore My Uconn Hoodie the last time we played Louisville. I haven't worn it since. On game day I wear a Hartford Whaler Sweatshirt. Your Welcome.

When they were down 9, I turned off the tv to change the mojo and followed the game via the chat for a few. I turned it back on when they were down by 4 and then watched the rest

In the second half, when we were down by 9, all of a sudden it struck me: "OMG!! I forgot the Rolling Rocks!!" In light of my near-unforgivable memory lapse, the Mojo Gods were merciful. Several Sacreds later, the second half was over and we had prevailed.

Crazy mojo day on this end. I waffled on the wings and sacred, then got caught with unexpected childcare responsibility timing. Found a singlechilled 7oz Rolling Rock, and got back to preheat the oven with the score 8-2.Got confused by the convection oven setting, and had little battery to txt, so to Messaged phone went on the charger. I was on iPad with little sister til halftime & then had to help with the twins, one of whom wouldn't nap & was exhausting NeNe. Somewhere I got the idea to go into the chat room with n the Nexus, where I posted that KO said Niels would hit his second half open looks. Then NeNe went to get the older kids and it was me and two unsettled 32 month olds. At 32-23, I got out of the chat room. That's when phone had enough juice to answer txts from my oldest friend and from my best college buddy who had apologized last week for picking Nova & now was telling me he had MSU going all the way. I told him he could side with Magic & Obama & Michael Moore & Suri Cruise if he liked, but that UConn would win if they just shot like normal. Once he gave Niels props for that awesome rebound, I started feeling it. I stood up, yelled a lot, told the little guys to "work it out" when they started fighting about whatever, and eventually the 7 year old girl to police the twins and her 10 year old brother, while I watched the closeout. NeNe was off getting groceries, and I was on three devices. Don't ever let me in the chat room in the post season again. P

You can go ahead and burn that hoodie. For the mojo.

My son and I sent my wife out of the room every time the game got tight. MSU was plus 10 with her watching.

Watched the whole second half while working out on the elliptical machine. Every time my left arm swung I said "I" and every time my right arm swung I said "believe".

Down 9, my wife baked Sugar cookies & my 2 yr old son wanted me to wear a goofy fishing hat he liked from his room. The rest of the game we ate cookies together. Lots of them. I love that Gilligan hat now.

I haven't properly wiped my Ashlynn Shade since Jim Calhoun got hired.

I'm pretty sure the mojo starts here.

Well worn, early 90s, now faded National Flag Blue, White-lettered "University of Connecticut" t-shirt. Accused of being a bit pungent by my wife, no other shirt was considered.

From 2:30-5:30 am local time, phone alarm re-set every 20 minutes to ensure staying awake, leaning on right side of the sofa, and enjoying an incredible lightning and hail storm I'll always associate with the Huskies' deafening defense.

For what will be my Sunday 6:09 am tip-off, the pungent shirt will be primed and ready. Go UCONN!
