I glossed right over the "46-year" part. 🤦♂️Our Cliff Robinson didn't play in the league until 1989 and wasn't in the NBA as a teenager.

It's honestly weird to get two guys with the same name that close to each other. Never heard of the other guy until nowI glossed right over the "46-year" part. 🤦♂️
I loved him as PF for the sixers, though it was a small consolation since we got him and doofy Jeff Ruland in a trade giving away Moses MaloneIt's honestly weird to get two guys with the same name that close to each other. Never heard of the other guy until now

Jeff Ruland I know because he's the least likely looking NBA player this side of Kurt RambisI loved him as PF for the sixers, though it was a small consolation since we got him and doofy Jeff Ruland in a trade giving away Moses Malone

Nomination for post of the year!!!!!
Im pretty sure our Cliff did toss in over 40 at least once in his career. I was very good friends w him in school, used to get his tix for home games.I saw the article this morning and had to look Cliff up and realized it was not our guy. I didn't think he was that young when he entered the NBA or ever scored that many points in a game regardless his age. I wondered at that time if someone was going to post it on the the Yard thinking it was our Mr. Robinson.
Give us one. I loved Cliff when I was a kid. Had his 00 jersey that I bought at a game before buying jerseys was a thing. It was basically a white Fruit of the Loom cotton tank top with “Connecticut” and 00 on the front.Im pretty sure our Cliff did toss in over 40 at least once in his career. The stories I could tell…..
