9 Years ago I saw them decimate Duke @ Wallace Wade... 45 - 14 or something like that. Also so many alumni there that they had rented out a huge building on Dukes campus for 100-200 for this big pre game event. Oh how times have changed. Much happiness was had. Many drinks consumed. Many tears now.

I was there and remember it well. Bought judge Lunn a beer (he almost immediately reciprocated), had a blast with some close friends who had relocated to the area about five years earlier and their co-workers who were UNC fans that enjoyed the thrashing of Duke as much as we did. One of the best parts was walking back to the car, passing a group of middle aged (mg age roughly) Duke fans tailgating who when they saw me in UConn garb said " If your school was any good in football you would have beaten us by a lot more!".
 
That was same one where they were like "We got Elena Della-Donne"!

At the function before the game they announced a new recruit i think it was Della donne..but the alumni rep had to say it to not violate recruiting rules.
 
Give me David Cutcliffe and bowl games all day. Being like dook would be just fine right now.
