UNC upset at Northern Iowa

Good for N. Iowa. My employer has a major factory in Waterloo and i have many co workers who are UNI graduates. They'll be psyched.

Their ball-movement without Paige and Tokoto (why did he leave again????) is much worse than last season.

Honestly think Miami's the best team in the ACC.

Maryland is 1 step closer to #1, but they still have to play UNC before we get them. Don't see UK losing by 12/8 though

Maryland barely got by Rider... that is a team with some weaknesses.

.-.
Maryland will lose to UNC and come into MSG 0-1 against us, which is bad for us because they will be hungrier and a win is worth less. Such is life in the AAC.

anybody see this

wish we played in college park to see how unfunny our sheet would be, despite plenty of fodder. I never got these sheets; hey its a basketball game cheer and boo.

Goes to show how unpredictable college basketball game is and why I love the game. Could happen to anyone (hint, hint).

Wrong thread wow

Lol why in the world would they schedule an early season road game against a mid-major? That's suicide.

The post-game hosts were saying UCONN in't in the same class as UNC and Kentucky at this point in the season. Very true. We're 3-0.

Wait, which post game hosts? The UNC post game or ours?

Keep in mind that Marcus Paige is still sidelined with an injury. Tough to make an assessment of UNC without him playing. He is their best player and one of the best PG in the country.

I have not been impressed with any of the top teams so far.

I was at this game this afternoon and the atmosphere in the building was incredible. The coaching job by Ben Jacobson in the second half was exceptional when he saw that #2 from UNC could not guard Washpun, the UNI PG, 1 on 1 and literally called iso after iso to get Washpun into the lane possession after possession for either layups or open 3s on the wing. UNC clearly has no leader or go to scorer on the floor without Paige. They were up by 16 points in the second half and just wilted away.

Williams likes to schedule home and homes with teams in the home states of his seniors, in this case Paige who is from Iowa. Lost a game to UAB on the road a year or two ago if I remember correctly.

I don't think it means too much it means a lot for Northern Iowa though their a solid program and were ranked last year. UNC lost to Santa Clara the year they won a national championship.

And UConn lost to Cuse one of the years UConn won it all. Yes, I'm comparing Cuse to UNI and Santa Clara.:p

This thread has been open for over 20 hours and no one has joked that the UNC players were distracted by their academic commitments? C'mon, people.
