He'll never overcome that for most/all of us, lol.My enduring memory of Armando Bacot will be Cam Spencer treating him like his son.
One of our better photoshops in a while lolMy enduring memory of Armando Bacot will be Cam Spencer treating him like his son.
I still don't have an idea for what is considered reasonable or not for NIL, but $2M to lead a consistent top 10 AP team and 1 possession away from the Elite 8 sounds....reasonable? lol no idea
I like Bacot. Obviously it was nice to see him and Spencer go at it and to watch Clingan lock him up, but it was fun to watch his progression as a player and teammate last season
Thank god Hurley has the skill set to thrive in this new landscape.I wonder how his teammates feel. Jealousy can go crazy with teenagers. Not just him but all NIL recipients.
Just so different now with a player making millions off of his teammates back, and the teammates are not compensated.
The last person I’ll be using for tax advice is a full-time college athlete who is a part-time student…Saw him at the Final Four this year at the fan fest doing an appearance for Turbo Tax.
At no cost, too.My enduring memory of Armando Bacot will be Cam Spencer treating him like his son.
Yes. I love seeing the big guys and little guys get their money. High-quality college players that aren't likely to make it at the next level. He was at UNC for 5 years, and his NBA career may be brief. He is the poster-child for why college players should be paid. Ryan Boatright is a good example of a UConn player who would have benefited hugely from NIL.
Neither guy is worth 2m, especially Hawkins. If Coleman Hawkins is worth $2 million for 1 year then Bacot deserves every penny of the $2 million he got.
Kind of crazy that he may have earned more in college than he will in the NBA. This NIL stuff is insane but it is what it is.
Do you think he was there giving tax advice? I’m gonna try to get ahold of Chris Paul the next time I need an insurance quote. The last person I’ll be using for tax advice is a full-time college athlete who is a part-time student…
