Some very interesting ideas presented, and commentary.

I do like the idea of a normalizing program to get the kid's education baselined. The other point about the failure to help the kids step out of poverty is an important one as well.

That is one item lost in the debate of pay for athletes, for those from poor backgrounds, their degree can be an educational opportunity to escape those situations. That's a huge advantage of the current system, if they are actually getting that education.

UNC=University of No Classes. First time I heard that. Pretty good.

Yeah but they are still in a Power 5 conference and UConn isn't. Sucks and there are no "points" for doing the right thing in college sports.
