Ummm...UConn-PSU question

Was watching a little bit of the PSU-Ohio game and they said that UConn and Colorado showed interest in Matt McGloin when the sanctions were announced at PSU. Is that true? If it is....why would we do that? McGloin is worse than anything we already have at QB....why go after another QB?

Could be ESPN trying to stir up more trouble. If you throw out enough vicious rumors sooner or later one might have an effect.

I don't see a problem, just surprised that we'd have interest as I see him as another JMac. He's not very impressive in the pocket and is an ok passer but doesn't overwhelm. Plus both were walk-ons and we already had a stocked QB position as Neberich was still on the team when the whole PSU mess broke. It was just something I didn't know about if true.
