UMass women: significant hire?

Former WNBA MVP Yolanda Griffith [44 years old] has been hired as an
assistant to Sharon Dawley at UMass. Last year she was an assistant at Lafayette.
UMass has been dreadful for several years...I wonder if this might spiff up recruiting
a bit.

There was some talk a few years back about her maybe coming to be an Assistant at Rutgers, but something happened that prevented it, I forget what.

I sometimes wonder if anything can help UMass WBB, which certainly shouldn't be as bad as they have been.
