Congratulations to UMASS. The MAC makes perfect sense for them. We have an avenue for scheduling as an independent for football and Big East for the Olympic sports.

We should have no issues with keeping them on the schedule.

Feels like there is a possibility of a UConn FB / Duquesne combo for the MAC. Pittsburgh is very MAC and would make Buffalo and others happy

Somebody was pointing out how far Ball State and WMU was to UMass. I was pointing out that in the A10 UMass already had a few conference mates as far away as MAC schools. St. Louis, Dayton and Duquesne are about as MAC as you can get. Nobody close like they have now though.

Good for them. They’ve cemented themselves in a lower level G type conference. They didn’t have much choice. Either that or dump football
