I remember when Colorado was National Champs and a perennial contended in the early '90s. That was when McCarthy was coach and brought in gang members (not being funny, literally LA gang members). After he left CU, the university suddenly got integrity and started recruiting more upstanding citizens. Graduation rate up, wins down.
