On my laptap in my hotel room - it's 5 hours later, here. Tried 3 local beverages thus far - they seem to be fond of lagers. Did the hot tub and sauna bit earlier today, natural geothermal pool is scheduled for Tuesday, I believe.

I turned on the game just now and saw 2 UConn turnovers in a row.

This seems to be a serious problem that could derail this team in March if they don't get it under control. Forget Baylor or Notre Dame, a neutral site game against Maryland or Penn State or UNC or even Syracuse is going to be awfully interesting if UConn is throwing the ball away like this.

Pretty sloppy play by UConn for most of the half, with flashes of great ball movement. KML solid with one three hit from five or six feet back. Stewart has missed at least three easy shots down low, seems to be rushing. Stef is great as usual, Morgan Tuck had a good play on a high low. Defensively they seem to be letting Syracuse get open shots; the zone isn't rotating fast enough? Not sure. Kelly continues her streak with some bizarre passing choices, she has two turnovers (I think).

Could blow this game wide open in the second half if some of the layups start going down or KML forces them out of their zone.

Geno remarked at halftime that Syracuse hurts them when they get into the lane. I find this aspect of 'Cuse's game attractive. Their kids are good at driving in and either shooting short range shots or passing out.
Against lesser teams, this offense will be very effective and it's not bad against us.
