us not getting into the acc is all about football make no mistake. every single conference in the country would want our basketball program. football program,ehhh not so much.

Certainly one of the factors. Until this season the football program's success in the BE was better than Cuse during UConn's entry into 1A. I doubt Cuse football history played a role in the selection process. Another NC would be a way of putting an exclamation mark on the non selection until the football program is clearly superior to BC's.
