Can someone explain the differences between UConn's and ULM's situation? I haven't followed the fine details closely enough to figure out why they received a waiver and UConn hasn't ... other than the fact that they are an absolute thouse of a team.

Thanks.

Mark Emmert doesn't have an axe to grind with ULM

But that can't be it right?! I mean seriously ... there has to be a difference between the two cases, right?

Yeah, the only difference appears to be that ULM banned themselves from the postseason last season when they had no chance of playing in the NCAA tourney.

We banned ourselves from the round of 32 this year.

I think we've suffered enough.

Anyone know of ULM's expected 2011 APR? Have they estimated and released it yet like UConn

So the NCAA spokesman lied about UConn having several years of bad scores.

There have been several times now that NCAA spokespeople have stated mistruths now about UConn. i AGREE IT IS NOW TIME TO PUT THEM UNDER OATH.

they're not UConn
