UConn's X-Factor

Well, we have now lived long enough to witness the end of the "Core Four"...
We are faced with a number of possible name successions ...

What say you?
Do we progress to....
the "Fundamental Five" (... AKA the "Fun Five")
the "Solid Six"
???

As if the zebras would delay a game to compare "accidental" ankle-bite marks...

Seems like @MilfordHusky had a good one but I've lost it.

How about OverDrive Five?

I concur with your observations. Let's just say that this is the best that he has to work with for the time being. So, considering the path and the destination, these young folk, not lacking in heart and desire, are the ones who will bolster the team.

Sorry but no idea what you're talking about re Kyla. She got 7 minutes in a 28 point win. And Geno tightens his rotation even more during the tourney. She will not be seen in the NCAAs except during mop up time.
Kyla's minutes have come earlier in the game several times. While she will not be part of the regular rotation Geno knows he can now use her to buy a minute or two here or there in foul trouble without catastrophic breakdown. She is very solid and does some things very well. Geno wants to trust what he will get from a player and Kyla's game is very steady and all effort. Two things knows and likes.

God forbid we have foul trouble but if we do Geno has an available option with Kyla and teams who ignore her if she comes in will do so at their own risk since she can hit from the 3 to the put back on the boards.
