I'm reading the morning papers:
In the Daily New's Preseason Top 25, Louisville is ranked at #5 & Michigan is at #12.
In the N.Y.Post the Cardinals are #7 & the Wolverines are at #15.
If strength of schedule means anything, that's pretty heady stuff from what the Huskies schedule looked like a decade ago.

I don't know. We've played Big East schedules with top nationally ranked WVU, Louisville, SFU and Cincinnati teams, not to mention Rutgers and Pitt teams that were very talented. I don't see that kind of depth in the AAC schedule. The big question mark on the schedule for me is the Terps. They could be much, much improved and Diggs is about as good a talent as we'll see. That said, FUCRE duckked that thing up so bad that team might be just playing out the string until his replacement is picked later in the season. Hard to know.

Yes.

+Michigan and Maryland. We've haven't had a tougher OOC since #1 Miami.

- Pitt and Cuse, face it the new AAC teams are better than they've been since 2004. Memphis is a wash for the rotating BE bottom feeders.

UL replaces WVU as nationally respected BCS contender.

RU professes to be decent. USF is the same as always without the pre snow hype. At least until they upset one of the FL teams.

It's next year the conference schedule will suck.

Agreed. Losing Pitt and the Fruit is no loss whatsoever to football SOS. Both are mediocre at best and definitely no better than UCONN. UL does replace WVU as the one year torchbearer for the conference.
