To me, the key to how we perform this month has a lot to do with how much our improvement on offense lately carries over when we play the better teams. Obviously we have improved in this area lately and we are finally "whole" as a team with the chemistry looking good , but a lot of it has been against subpar teams. I expect us to be much better than we were, but how much remains to be seen. I'm hopeful we have turned a corner.

i'd be happy with 5-4 but hope we go 6-3. win the 2 games against non-tourney teams and 4 of the 7 games against tourney teams.

5-4 would put us in the middle of the pack in the conference. We are much better than that

10-6 or 11-5 could put us anywhere between 2-5 in the conference yet keep us ranked in the top 20 nationally

We're just discussing the tough 9 game stretch. There's 3 games after that we would likely win all or at least go 2-1. So 13-6 or 12-7 would be our record with a 5-4 split and not making up the Providence game. 13 wins gets you a top 3 finish every recent year of the Big East.

This team looks well prepared for a strong stretch run to me. Not going to worry numbers, just taking one game at a time.

They should need to forfeit then. That is BS if they escape 2 road games and a game against us. They would likely lose 2 of those games too assuming SH gets Aiken back, and then we finally play them with Sanogo

This is a bummer because I'd love to get some revenge on Providence, but I guess it's not the end of the world given that UConn has plenty of Q1/Q2 games ahead of them. I'd be more upset about this if we were still in the AAC and were missing a big opportunity to play Houston or a good Cincy team.

I’m going to be pissed if they win the conference by win percentage. That’s a load of BS. They should be forced to forfeit.

Or at least have SOS modify the winning percentage if a team has "x" less games than the conference average. That way they get penalized if they played a weak SOS or helped if they played a strong SOS.

I know, I know - too complex. But it would make it more fair.
