I believe Azzi is out of the conversation until late January at least.
Why risk turning her soft foot problem into a full on break?
Personally, I’m not to concerned about any games until the BE Tournament.
Get healthy.
Win the Tournament.
Make the NCAA’s.
Then kick AZZI on who ever gets in our way.
We will be scary good.
We will have a deep, rested, HEALTHY, battle tested team ready to rock.
(take all the time you need Paige-team has your back)
(and the fans love you)

Why do you believe this? The team is reevaluating her on 15 December and you already know the the outcome of that medical evaluation?

UCLA is overrated. They are bereft with injuries and are fortunate to have the record they do. If it had to happen, it is too bad Paiges injury did not happen at the start of league play, they would have no problem beating those teams without her.
I paid big bucks for UCLA game tickets on Saturday with the expectation of seeing Paige and Azzi in the back court..........sad to say that's not going to happen.........should certainly make for a more competitive game but not nearly as exciting..........:(.

How could I know?
I am not Carnak.
Azzi has had “wheel” problems since the Olympics.
If not before.
Re-evaluation means CHECKING on progress.
Does not mean clearing to play.
Means further examination.
Positive RE-EVALUATION is not a clearing her to play.
It is merely an update.
May have her continue inactive.
May clear for light practice.
May clear for full contact practice (I’d doubt it).
But even if she’s cleared for full contact practice (which I doubt), that still pushes her until early January (best case) to be game ready.
No I am not a Doctor, and I don’t play one on TV.
And never even met Azzi, but, based on the lingering history of this injury- I would project her next court appearance further into the future, rather than closer to the present.
For safety’s sake.

Everybody needs to step up their game in Paige's absence............that's 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, almost five assists and three steals a game to make up.............GT is the ACC's version of USF with four or five international players..............they can rebound but based on their stats they are a not a very good offensive team..............if UConn is hot early from outside its most likely lights out.........but of course these days that's a big if........

my take I always felt transfers at Uconn are not the best idea. I always feel they start behind the 8th ball, and don't know their role. Mostly due to the fact that Uconn was not interested in that player at 1st or the player did not feel Uconn was their best option when committing. Even Azura always felt like she didn't feel part of the team. I think transfers work, but not at Uconn.
Mr Stephens?

Everyone will help to pick up Paige's slack.
I'd be more concerned about who will sub if more than one big runs into foul trouble.
Some team is bound to lure us into foul trouble.
Piath should start her engine just in case....

Maybe this is why they have been trying out a 4 guard offense?
Or maybe not.
