If Uconn were to build their version of an AD Mount Rushmore in Storrs, who is in?
Only get 4 spots (really two)

1. Auriemma (obvious #1)
2. Calhoun (obvious #1a giving nod to Geno's dominance)
3. Ray
4. Lobo, Herbst, or Orlovsky? too soon for Benefict I think.

How do you not put this guy on? There is even a building named after him. Died at 61. Imagine if he had 5-8 years more?

Hugh Greer coached basketball at Connecticut from 1947 to 1963.[1] As coach of the Huskies he led UConn to 7 NCAA Tournaments and 1 NIT berth. He would end his career with a record of 286–112 for a .719 win percentage.[1] He was the winningest coach in Connecticut history until Jim Calhoun passed him in 1998. As head coach, he won 12 Yankee Conference Championships overall and 10 consecutively from the 1950–51 season to the 1959–60 season.

In 1954, he famously led UConn to a 78–77 victory against undefeated Holy Cross breaking the Crusaders' 47-game home winning streak. Eventually, Holy Cross won the NIT title. In 1956, Greer led UConn to the Sweet 16, where they lost in a close game to Temple. He led UConn until he died on January 14, 1963, of a massive heart attack. Assistant George Wigton finished out the season and led them to the NCAA Tournament. UConn credits the first 10 games of the season to Greer and the rest of the season (including the NCAA Tournament) to Wigton.

I hate women's basketball, but you can't have a UConn Mount Rushmore without Geno.

Calhoun, Geno, Ray, Kemba, IMO.

You can't not put Breanna Stewart on there. 4 freaking national championships.
Geno
Calhoun
Stewart
Kemba

Ray- great Husky and my favorite NBA player of all time, but not sure he's deserving based solely on UConn achievements. Kemba's run was absolutely outstanding and will never be repeated.

And it's hard to not have Taurasi and Maya Moore on there.

Calhoun built the mountain we are about to carve Geno’s face on. I’m sorry, but Calhoun is always number one on any such list. However you set it up, Jim Calhoun is listed first. They are not 1 & 1a. Geno is number 2. He is the best at what he does, but all the facilities, money and so on are not there without men’s basketball, and that is Jim Calhoun.

Calhoun built the name UConn. Geno built UConn Women’s Basketball.

Going back there are way too many to have a Mt Rushmore
You have Coach Morrone, Greer, JO Christian, Toner, Nancy Stevens is paving her road, Walt Dropo, etc
Need to have HoF not a Mountain
