Stunning level of talent:

Lou Allen
Deon Anderson
Cornell Brockington
Terry Caulley
Larry Taylor
Stanley Williams
Andre Dixon
Donald Brown
Anthony Barksdale

And, Matt Lawrence transferred.

We need more quality RBs!

No - we just need to play more running backs that we have. :)

And Kory Sheets went to Purdue because he didn't see any playing time.

Good stuff. It's pretty clear why Edsall made McClain a DB. The depth chart was crowded at RB and he was simply too good of an athlete to leave on the sideline.

And can you imagine with this deep cadre of RB's (and it was impressive), if instead of one or two of them, UConn had brought in a Dan O facsimile. And while they were at it a few Marcus Easley type WRs. Although . . . they had one and didn't utilize it until four games into his red shirt senior season.

Do folks really believe to this day that Easley was tearing it up and simply would not be put on the field? Still? He's a great kid and I wish him all of the best, but he had an 8 game run, nothing much before, nothing much after. You need to let go.

Kind of like the UConn passing game, huh? Encouraged that it seems to be changing for the better. Now let's not permanently misplace the running game.

Easley was a 4th round draft pick sitting on our bench his senior season..... you're as blind as Edsall was.
