He just said it on College BB Live. He thinks playing the AAC tournament in Hartford is the reason.

Guess nobody told him about Purvis being unwilling to improve or learn.

They should all grow their beards out, it's working for Louisville ;)

"UConn. You can't rule them out yet."
Given 11 and 14, that should be printed on every NCAA tourni basketball used - from now on.

Rule them out of what?..Making the NCAA tourney or winning the whole thing?

Cause you know that for a fact by observing practices and talking to both him and the coaches. Nice try bud.

You guys eat this kid alive on here. He plays for UConn. He doesn't get paid. He is a student-athlete. He owes you nothing. Is he as good as advertised? No. But he is still a very good basketball player. He posted numerous pictures/tweets last year when he was sitting out of him in the gym after midnight working on his game. Unwilling to improve? Get out of here. Also, the kid is very very sensitive so no need to bash. He sees everything, which he has also stated on social media. Matter of fact his last instagram post (now deleted) he seemed a bit fed up with how UConn nation has treated him in his return to the court. So go ahead, run the guy out of UConn bashing him - the kid averaging 10 ppg on 43% shooting including 34% from 3.

God Bless Mr. Katz...he may be the only UConn fan in the media, well now other than JC.

Only time will tell but I would feel a lot more confident if the AAC tourney was at Gampel rather than in Hartford lol
