UConn Women's Lacrosse

For those that have FoxSports2, the UConn Women's Lacrosse team will be televised at 1pm on Saturday as they take on Villanova. I'm gonna check it out. I think it's very cool that they are getting coverage, and hopefully they'll get the "W"...

Comcast in Cromwell does not appear to have it. I spent 10 minutes Googling and strangely enough find very little about Fox Sports 2. I was hoping I could stream it. Not that I see. Oh well, would have been fun to watch.

I have it through DirecTV, so I'm not sure how many people this will be available to. I wish I had a way to "stream" it on the web for you...

I appreciate the sentiment. Watching the Red Sox lose to the Jays instead. Would have preferred lacrosse.

I forgot to update this last night. UConn thoroughly crushed Villanova (UConn has never lost to Villanova in women's lacrosse, as we are now 6-0 against them). We are going into the Big East tourney as the #3 seed:

#1 Louisville vs. #4 Rutgers
#2 Georgetown vs. #3 UConn

The games will be played at 2:30pm on next Saturday, and will again be aired on FoxSports 2...

Holy crap! I thought the UConn - GTown game was Saturday, but you're absolutely right! Thanks for catching that. I'll have to check to see if FS2 has that game as well. I'm guessing they do...

I checked it out last night, and I saw that they have a "women's lacrosse match" scheduled for that time. I'm not sure if it's UConn or not, but I'm setting it to record just in case...

I just checked the Big East website. It's not completely clear, but I interpret it to mean FS2 is only carrying the finals. Something called Big East Digital, no doubt streamed over the internet, seems to be carrying the semis.

And I just checked the FS2 website. They are showing the ECAC tournament Thursday night.
